About us
Structural reliability is the whole brief
Balustyle manufactures stainless steel balustrades, handrails and associated products designed for structural reliability and long term performance in both residential and commercial applications.
All design, manufacturing and installation are managed from our Johannesburg facility, established in 2005, which keeps consistency and accountability across every stage of delivery.
Components are produced in grade 304 stainless steel for inland environments and grade 316 for coastal conditions, selected for durability, versatility and minimal maintenance. Handrails are available in stainless round or flat bar, with infill options including toughened safety glass, perforated metals, tensioned stainless cable and vertical or horizontal tubing.
Balustrade systems can be combined with complementary materials such as timber, granite, nautical wire and stainless sheet to reach a range of architectural outcomes, indoors or out.

Going green
A material that outlasts the building and still recycles
One measure of a material's environmental impact is what happens to it at the end of its useful life. Stainless steel is corrosion resistant and durable, with a long life expectancy even in severe environments, and its recycling route is well established, economically viable and technically proven.
